Online studio with smartmedia technology complements dental laboratory for a variety of training formats

At a time when trade fairs and other customer formats are not possible, online formats are proving to be a good solution for maintaining customer contact. VITA Zahnfabrik still uses smart media technology in an online studio, which can also be controlled very easily with an app, to implement presentation and training formats.

Dental laboratory showroom is transformed into an online studio for training formats with smart media technology.

The joy was short-lived. VITA had only just commissioned its agency with the realization of a trade fair appearance when the corona-related cancellation came. What now?

The tooth factory from Baden-Württemberg relies on close contact with its customers from 126 countries. Trade fairs as well as on-site training and presentations are immensely important for successful business. Is it possible to acquire new customers online? Can training for customers and employees be carried out virtually at the usual high level? You can!

Through the use of smart and easy-to-use media technology.

The studio set-up consists of a presentation monitor, a remote-controlled head-mounted camera, wireless microphones, a preview monitor, professional lighting, and a streaming encoder that makes live broadcasts possible. This is joined by a unique smart operating app on a tablet, with which the whole thing can be controlled centrally.

Different camera angles and audio sources can be selected at the touch of a finger and recordings from other locations and external content can be easily switched on. An online training platform and training concepts for different user groups ensure that users continuously build up their expertise.

This makes it possible for a single person to carry out the training without additional staff support. This is ingeniously simple and saves costs.

Hybrid showrooms are also perfectly suited as satellites for live streams from trade fairs. For example, to be able to access exhibits or experts who are not on the stand.
